"Small Talk"

So far, the only person who's asked for critique is SpyrusTheVirus, no I'm going to give it a shot.



I've been tampering with a lot a new things lately. Basically, the purpose of this picture was to help me folds, position, outlines, and a new softer meathod of shading. I would like it if someone could tell me the flaws or what I could a have done to make it better. I would ask people on deviant art, but they're hardly ever honest.

However, the only thing that I know is wrong is the fact that her eyes lack shine, but that was done on purpose to make it cuter.

I think shining black eyes are cuter than non-shiny black eyes..... xD

Here goes:
Hmmm. The eye on the beetle (?) Seems a little out of place to me.
The new shading is an interesting combination of cell shading and brush stoke-style. I like it.
The dark lines on her boots look they are meant to be creases or something, but looks like dark lines instead. xD
Beetle has great shading on the shell, but not enough shading on the beetle legs and beetle head.
Aaaaand maybe have some more hightlights. Like on her left sleeve it could use some.



No idea if I would actually like it better if you took my suggestions..... o-0
