Where did your username come from??

so...any interesting stories behind your usernames?
(Mine has none...I don't even know where it came from. I just used it again cause its my deviant user, and so people would make the connection XD)

My name is also my deviant name, but that came from combining two other names together.

My user name goes along with my deviant name also. I really wish I would have put more thought into my deviant one, I really dislike now.

My username is my dA username.

I used to have this idea in my head that I was going to start a revolution through art and film- and it in a sense would lead to an assassination of stupid people... So there you have it. Asesina Tuya- or "your assassin" in English. I used to just be plain "asesina"- and that dA page still exists, but I decided I needed to be more hardcore or something.

I dunno. I get weird ideas in my head when I get depressed.

My username has absolutely nothing to do with my dA name. Though any other art site I'm on, my username is NightCat (or NachtKatze, in german) Katz is a nickname given to me in college based off of my real name (I go by Kat nowadays though IRL) which was stolen from the video game Zero Wing, if anyone has ever played, Katz is the main villian

I got my name comes from weird places. Then I make it mean something afterward. XD

manzanita as in the tree. I thought it sounded cool... :]
And Grove because I like foresty places. *nods*
(Also manzanita was a friend's cabin's name at a park.)

Now I keep it because I like the way it has zani in the name. *grins* ^w^
And there are tons of fun nicknames you can make from it.

DA:
Hierogryphon because I like mythic beasts, especially gryphons. And I like egyptian stuff. Hieroglyphs and gryphons smooshed = my username.
I especially like it because I means "royal" gryphon apparently.

I usually name things based on latin roots, different language words, or just altering the english version.

My forum name comes from a combination of my real name and my oft used nickname. Mumsie just had to give me the same name as a festival.
My DA name (ShortStory) is a play on my height and my writing hobby.

Its a created character of a fallen angel

.... mine is both to annoy sinkain and because i often act as his shadow in real life.
